Background:

Grant Michael Gaines was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. While at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Grant majored in marketing and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law fraternity and the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

Grant graduated in the top 12% of his law school class at St. Mary's University School of Law. While in law school, Grant was a member of Phi Delta Phi international law fraternity, and was on both the EAP Competitive Mock Trial Team and the EAP Competitive Moot Court Team. Grant competed in multiple Mock Trial competitions including the National Trail Advocacy Competitions in Michigan State and in New Orleans. He also competed in the TYLA State Moot Court Competition where his team received both a Best Speaker award and Best Brief Award. Grant also won the 2010 St. Mary's Spring Moot Court Competition.

Grant has been an associate with Pulman, Cappuccio, Pullen & Benson, LLP since 2010.
