Background:

Tiffanie S. Clausewitz was born and raised in Alice, Texas. Tiffanie attended Texas A&M University on a Terry Foundation Scholarship, issued through the Honors Department. While at Texas A&M, Tiffanie was an English major, and active in several campus organizations. Following graduation, Tiffanie worked as a projects coordinator for a national cancer clinical trials group. During that time, she studied for and received a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Following almost ten years of experience in the work force, Tiffanie entered law school at St. Mary's University School of Law. During her first year of law school, Tiffanie was awarded the Best Brief Award for the First Year Law Student Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Tiffanie was Articles Editor on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary's Law Journal, President of the Women's Law Association, a Director on the Board of the Bexar County Women's Bar Association, and a member of Phi Delta Phi. Upon graduation Tiffanie was named Outstanding Student by the National Association of Women in Law, and honored with the inaugural Adele Advocate for the Poor Award by St. Mary's School of Law.

Following graduation, Tiffanie clerked for the Honorable Catherine M. Stone, Chief Justice of the Fourth District Court of Appeals in San Antonio. She then served as an associate for a school law firm before joining Pulman, Cappuccio, Pullen & Benson, LLP in 2011. She is married to her husband Eric, and the proud mother of three rambunctious children.
