Shanna Castro was raised in Modesto, California. Shanna graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in music education. Following her time there, Shanna moved to Texas and worked as a music teacher for two years.
While attending St. Mary’s University School of Law, Shanna maintained a high grade point average and graduated in the top 13% of her class. During her first year in law school, Shanna was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi international law fraternity, joined the Women’s Law Association, and made Dean’s List. After that, Shanna was named an Academic Scholar for the St. Mary’s Office of Academic Excellence and worked for the Center for Terrorism Law as a Research Editor. Shanna also became a Staff Writer and eventually an Associate Editor for the St. Mary’s Law Journal.
Shanna has been an associate with Pulman, Cappuccio & Pullen, LLP since 2011.
